Give and Take Show & Tell

I have something special planned for this weeks Show and Tell Monday. I am calling it a Give and Take Giveaway. As you know sometimes you need a little motivation to keep yourself going along that road to success. Well, we have these new little signs/cards we made to hang on your inspiration/vision boards, or place in your gratitude journals, wherever you'd like, to give you that little nudge when you need it!

Here is where the contest comes in. We are trying to come up with a clever, catchy name for them and so far have not had much luck. They are going to be sold in sets, perhaps individually as well. We also would love some great motivational/inspirational quotes to use on these little "thingies." We all know when it comes to great quotes, you ladies are the go to source.

Here is where you and your fabulous ideas come in to play. We are going to give away two pairs of these "thingies" this week as a thank you for helping us. To enter the first giveaway, simply leave a comment and share your favorite quote. A random winner will be drawn by J & F Accounting firm (aka Julian and Francesca- my children). To enter the second giveaway, leave a comment and suggestion for a name. The best name will be decided by a select panel of judges (my family). You may enter both giveaways if you like. It's that easy. The winners will be announced this Thursday July 17th. Good luck and thanks for helping us out!

Can you tell Emerson is one of my favorite writers? Ah the days spent in American Lit. class, how I miss them. Have a great week! Thanks for visiting.

Hi Carrie,
I just read this one. "Being honorable never goes out of style." Bruce Williams

I just can't wait until these items are for sale. I am starting a vision board.

I really can't think of anything for a name except Inspirations by Noelle Garrett or Noelle Garret Designs Inspirations, or Words to Dream by.

Hi Carrie1
Those turned out grea! I have two quotes on my fridge....If you think you can, you can. And Dream it, Believe it, Achieve it. Simple, but they encourage me.

I think you should call them: Sweet Inspirations or just Inspirations.

Hi Carrie, I will have to think of a name for them, but as far as a quote, ya know there is a ton of them, but I personally like "In every gesture grace and dignity". I dont really know who said it, but its a good one for an irish girl with a temper! lol Also, "Actions will ALWAYS betray words." Talk is cheap!
Your "thingys" are so cute, what a great idea. Thanks,, gail

Hi Carrie,

My favourite quote is from Sir Winston Churchill. When he was at an official dinner he had a lady sit beside him whom he did not get on with at all. This is what transpired "If you were my husband I would poison your drink" to which he replied, "If you were my wife, I'd drink it".....

I know it is not suitable for your little tags but I just love it.

As for a name I love 'Inspirational Thoughts'......

Hello Carrie,

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all your Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all your Tears wash out a Word of it.

This is from The Rubaiyat By Omar Khayyam and was written in 1120. This is just one small verse, It is a wonderful piece of work and well worth reading, I have owned the book since I was a girl.

Sorry for commenting twice but I just thought it was so appropriate.
