Forgotten Treasures

I have been on this cleaning frenzy for the last week. I literally can't stop myself. I have organized linen closets, cleaned drawers, packed up old clothes and rearranged furniture. I have been a mission. So the other day, while digging through cabinets I came across a few forgotten things.
The first thing I came across was this metal hanging basket. I completely forget I picked it up years ago and it was tucked in a box all this time. I think however I am going to part with it. It has a base for a candle although there are so many possibilities.

I also found this little metal wall pocket that just needs a bit of tlc and a few flowers. I think I shall part with this as well.

Last but not least, I found a huge box of wooden nickles. I'm not sure what I want to do with them. Some have a hole drilled in them, most are plain. If you have any ideas feel free to throw them my way. . for some reason I am drawing a blank. Well, that is all I have to share today. Have a wonderful last week of January (wow! can you believe it already?).

It has details surrounding the bottle.

I also made several little 3 inch bottles with roses. These would look pretty with a few little flowers peeking out a bit. These are just a few of the wonderful itmes available this Friday, January 23. Please visit us for some wonderful deals!

Show and Tell

A new week and so much to share. I have really had a productive week and thought I would give you a look at a few of the things I have made, found and embellished. So I guess I will just jump right in!

I went around this weekend tea dying just about everything I could find. I did several sets of tags and tied them with some pretty pastel crinkle ribbons. Simple but pretty.

Next is a set of file folders that I just couldn't pass up. They are new yet have the "vintage" look to them. Lots of fun and a great way to get organized. I use tons of file folders for all my pictures.
Ok, I know it's only January. . . but I had to try out some new things I got and played a bit with Easter goodies. Here is a set of bunny tags. . and below. . .
an Easter wall hanging with the words Happy Easter in French.
This week I hit a few junk shops and found an enormous bag of old buttons. I had my little ones play a game seperating them by color and they had a ball. I now have literally thousands of buttons but I am finding they are an addiction. I want more. .

and more!
I also did a bit of shopping from Count Your Blessings. If you haven't been you must visit her. She has a beautiful site and so many lovely treasures. I could look for hours. These quilt squares are adorable and I have so many ideas for them. I may even dust off my sewing machine.
Some other goodies I found were this card holder (I had to stick one of my new business cards Roxie designed in it- love them! I may add a little something to it before I put it up for sale.
I found this pretty little shabby wall pocket thingy. . lol.. . and. .
finally, this tray. There was just something about it I had to grab it. I don't think I will refinish it though. I may just sell it and leave the redo to someone else this time. Oh, and the little man just had to check it out too. Thanks for visiting and have a lovely week!

Show and Tell - A Bit of This and That

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years. I have been very busy working on projects and doing a bit of hunting and gathering. I have so many ideas and am chomping at the bit to get started on them. I have a mix of things to share this week, so here we go. . .

First up are some of the paper goodies we have been working on. Here is one of many sets Valentine tags we have made and listed this week. I just love working with pink/red and all the frilly trims. Such fun.Next up is a little altered collage wall hanging I made. I have several in the works and hope to get them up some time this week.

I also created a garland to hang up for Valentine's Day. I liked it so much I am making myself one to keep.We also put together some great new Scrap Pack kits for your own creations.

Last but not least, I took a few minutes to visit my favorite little antique store that is closing down and is practically giving things away. (I have been going almost weekly ) I found these little Napco busts and just couldn't pass them up. I don't know whether to keep them or sell them yet. I also found a very pretty doily and some vintage hankies for a project I am working on, and this pink dress inspiration board. It was just too cute. I am going to fix it up and list it.
Whew. . it has been a busy week. Thanks for visiting!
