Happy Monday - A Bit of Paris!
Hello and welcome. I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday weekend. I have been busy getting ready for Pink Friday at Make Mink Pink! Here are a few goodies. The first is a journal called "Parisian Dreams." It is over the top with pink and glitter. It is one of my favorites. It is a bit difficult to tell but it is striped if you do a close up. It was such fun to make. The little purse tag is sort of an experiment. It was funny, I sat there staring at it when I was done and kept saying 'I have seen this somewhere before' . . . duh, then I realized it is pink and shaped sort of like the MMP bag logo. Silly me. Finally, there is a not too good picture of a journal I made as a custom order for one of our own. I won't say who until she sees it first. I made a little window with a shade and roses growing out of the window box. The inside tag reads, "Love what you do, Do what you love." Words to live by I think. Well, that is all for today, have a wonderful Monday! Hugs all!

Happy Monday!
Happy Monday Everyone! This past week has been a bit crazy but I did manage to get a few things made. The journals were for a special order. I had a request for a "denim" journal. I couldn't help myself and made two. She chose the one with the pink flower and white lace, so I will sell the other one. I started making some more tags to build up a bit of inventory. These are a few of them. I embellish both the front and back. I am charging 12.50 for a set of three. Is this too much? It does take some time to make them. I'm not sure. I have seen some people sell their tags really inexpensive, but I feel these are a bit more elaborate. Oh well, I can always lower them if I need to. My mother made the bird ones and I made the rest. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Show and Tell Monday!
Happy Monday! This past week was a bit busy so I only have a few things we finished up. Sorry the pictures aren't the greatest, we have had gray skies lately. I did make a few tags the other day. They are sparkly but I don't think the camera picked that up. My mom/partner made the hanging baskets for her chandelier. I really like them, they are covered in beautiful paper. She has three more to make a set of five. We are not sure about making them to sell or not. We also finished up the basket. Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

Bookmark Giveaway!
Sometimes I think I love giving things more than receiving them. I wanted to thank all of my fellow Make Mine Pink Ladies for their overwhelming support and inspiration. I know this isn't much, but I wanted to do a little something. I made this bookmark with Make Mine Pink in mind, and I think you are all marvelous! I hope it is enjoyed with a good book! Please leave a comment and I will pick a winner at random tomorrow evening. Thanks again.

My Big Idea
Ok, so I have this idea and I can't get it out of my head. It came to me during MMP marketing chat a week or so ago when we were discussing items for wholesale. I'm not sure if my idea would work, but you know how the little things that nag and won't go away could be something?
It's silly really, I'm almost afraid to put it out there. You will probably say, oh. . . that's it?
Well, here goes. Basically I have an idea for a product that would fit in my line rather nicely I think, and the thing is I haven't seen one out there, anywhere. Maybe there is and I just don't know.
I have an idea for a journal in a box as I seem to be calling it (a kit). A beautiful, silk or satin lined box, (box covered in fabric or paper of some kind), Inside a fully covered journal (think beautiful paper, victorian, floral, etc.) decorated only with ribbons or something. Then in a beautiful bag of some kind everything you need to design your own cover, from pictures, sayings, embellishments, you get to be the one to create it, all self sticking I am thinking. There are endless possibilities for themes here, kids, teens, victorian, vintage style, etc. I have been a journal writer for a long time and I have never seen anything quite like this. Have you?
I have this vision for it. I can see every detail in my head, now I need to execute it. So that is it.
Feel free to comment, good or bad, constructive I should say. I am open to it all. Thanks for hearing me out!

Show and Tell Monday!
It's that time again. This past week has been very busy as usual. Our new site is almost done. It should be ready to go this week. Here are some pictures of a few new things we have been working on. Right now I am on this bottle kick. I can't get enough of them. My home is surrounded with them at the moment. I found the blue one at a thrift store. The tray was from a local antique store, and we refinished it. I am currently working on a new project. I am really excited about it. Possibly something for the wholesale market. But I will keep it a secret until it is done. Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day!
