It's Show and Tell Monday!
Hello and welcome! It is Show & Tell at Mate Mine Pink and we are happy to show you what we have been working on. While it has been a busy week, I managed to take some time off and have some fun with my family. We had a lovely picnic at the park, and if you haven't heard, we added a new member to our family. His name is Leo and he is such a sweetie. He is 6 weeks old and has become very attached to me already. Nothing puts a smile on your face like a kitten. We are thrilled to have found him. I also spent some time painting items for my workspace. I ordered some decals to finish it up and I just need to get some curtains or fabric to make some. Hopefully I will have some before and after photos next week. Now for my show and tell.
I also have something new to share, though only one at this time. We are making these little embellished accessories to be placed in gift bags/baskets, etc. The possibilities are endless. They will have a stick attached so you can place them where ever you like. We have dress forms, hats, dresses, shoes and handbags. They are all drawn and embellished by hand. I am really excited about these. They are such fun. Tell me what you think! Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful week!
Well, I finally got the Words to Dream By Inspirational Quotes ready.. Take a look if you get a chance. I have several sets up and more are on the way! http://www.noellegarrettdesigns.com/category_28/Words-to-Dream-By.htm

It's a Christmas in July Show & Tell
Happy Monday! We are kicking off this Christmas in July week with a few items we have been working on. It has been such fun getting in the holiday spirit in the middle of summer. We have been working feverishly to get ready for this wonderful event. Well, let's just dive right in! First up are two holiday organizers. They have multiple pockets/sections and shopping cards to help with everyone on your list. These were such fun to make.
Next up is a Christmas Card Organizer, followed by a Holiday Treats Keepsake Book. These are all available on our site along with many other holiday goodies. I will be adding more items throughout the week too.
Now that these items are up I can focus on finishing my work space. No, it is still not done yet. I told you I am such a procrastinator. I will get myself in gear and hopefully have something to show next week. . . hopefully! Have a wonderful Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Give and Take Show & Tell
I have something special planned for this weeks Show and Tell Monday. I am calling it a Give and Take Giveaway. As you know sometimes you need a little motivation to keep yourself going along that road to success. Well, we have these new little signs/cards we made to hang on your inspiration/vision boards, or place in your gratitude journals, wherever you'd like, to give you that little nudge when you need it!
Here is where the contest comes in. We are trying to come up with a clever, catchy name for them and so far have not had much luck. They are going to be sold in sets, perhaps individually as well. We also would love some great motivational/inspirational quotes to use on these little "thingies." We all know when it comes to great quotes, you ladies are the go to source.
Here is where you and your fabulous ideas come in to play. We are going to give away two pairs of these "thingies" this week as a thank you for helping us. To enter the first giveaway, simply leave a comment and share your favorite quote. A random winner will be drawn by J & F Accounting firm (aka Julian and Francesca- my children). To enter the second giveaway, leave a comment and suggestion for a name. The best name will be decided by a select panel of judges (my family). You may enter both giveaways if you like. It's that easy. The winners will be announced this Thursday July 17th. Good luck and thanks for helping us out!
Can you tell Emerson is one of my favorite writers? Ah the days spent in American Lit. class, how I miss them. Have a great week! Thanks for visiting.

Show & Tell Monday
Before I get into my show & tell, I have a bit of Carrie trivia for you. The first song by Michale Nyman, here on my blog, called The Scene of Love, (I believe it is actually called The Scent of Love) is the song I got married to. I walked down the aisle after my wedding party by myself I might add, while this song played. If you listen to the entire thing (I hope you will), the end when the violins come in, is where I came in as well. It give me chills and tears every time I listen to it. I just had to share and I hope you enjoy it.
This weekend I relaxed, listened to music, and painted. It has been so long since I have painted anything. It was almost therapeutic, like having a fresh canvas to create whatever you dream of. I am redoing my little workspace and right now everything is in the beginning stages. I even put my kids to work painting (which they loved). My dear husband doesn't see my vision and thinks I am crazy painting over my wooden shelves, wall hangings and wire baker's rack in black. I keep telling him to be patient, it will all come together. I am sort of leaning towards a Parisian theme, I found some great papers and want to use them on my shelves and these wooden signs I have. I didn't get to take pictures yet, but I will document the stages and put it all up when I am finished. Hopefully I won't procrastinate on this project for too long. I have a tendency to start things and get sidetracked. LOL.
For my Show & Tell this week I painted and embellished this box. I found this gorgeous bird paper and couldn't resist. I am not sure if I want to include a journal inside or just sell it as it is. I got a new toy and will be making and selling spiral notebooks/journals as well now. Hopefully I will have a sample for you next week!
I also have been working on a few Christmas things. I know you are thinking, not more tags! I couldn't resist. When I was trying to come up with things to make for Christmas in July, the first thing that came to mind was fancy Christmas tags. I also attached a little tag to each decorated tag that has a holiday sentiment written on it and a place to write who it is for. I figured this way you don't have to actually write on the embellished tag, and it can be used for other things. I am thinking of selling them in sets of 3 or 5, mixed sizes (0h, and some as you can see will have Pei Li's amazing miniatures on them as well).
Thank you for visiting and I wish you a wonderful week ahead!
