Forgotten Treasures

I have been on this cleaning frenzy for the last week. I literally can't stop myself. I have organized linen closets, cleaned drawers, packed up old clothes and rearranged furniture. I have been a mission. So the other day, while digging through cabinets I came across a few forgotten things.
The first thing I came across was this metal hanging basket. I completely forget I picked it up years ago and it was tucked in a box all this time. I think however I am going to part with it. It has a base for a candle although there are so many possibilities.

I also found this little metal wall pocket that just needs a bit of tlc and a few flowers. I think I shall part with this as well.

Last but not least, I found a huge box of wooden nickles. I'm not sure what I want to do with them. Some have a hole drilled in them, most are plain. If you have any ideas feel free to throw them my way. . for some reason I am drawing a blank. Well, that is all I have to share today. Have a wonderful last week of January (wow! can you believe it already?).

We must all have the organizing bug, I've found lots of goodies this weekend too.

Love the wall pocket, that's really pretty.

Hi Carrie. I would decorate the wooden nickels with pretty scrap paper on both sides and maybe some bling, then make necklaces out of them. How about an inspirational word on typed paper to add to it?

Carrie, I think we must all be trying to push spring ahead with all the organizing going on in the Pinkdom! Those wooden nickels are just calling for your touch, drop earrings and a matching pendant maybe?

Oh Carrie, those wooden nickels would be darling with decoupaged images and bling on them and either attached to your awesome tags or just made into tags themselves.

Isn't it fun to clean up and organize? It's like a present to yourself when you come across something you tucked away and forgot about. I love my new wall pocket. I'll have to take a picture of where I hung it.
Have a wonderful week my creative friend.
