A Little Treasure Box

I found this pretty picture on a most dreadful brown wooden plaque a while back.

It has been sitting around for a while and I finally decided to dismantle the plaque and thought it would be the perfect addition to this old jewelry box.

It is filled with lots of pretties to create with.

Here is a look at more of the goodies tucked inside.

I've also been playing around with paper clay a bit. . .back to to drawing board on this one. So many ideas, so little time!

I was having so much fun with this new sheet music stamp I was stamping everything I could get my hands on!

I love this dyed muslin.

This is a sweet little bag of paper goodies to play with.

We have been spending a lot of time in the creamy beige zone so we thought a little pop of color might be fun!

I just love this artichoke finial and find myself leaning towards a mix of whites and creams, sort of a vintage inspired color palette as of late. This is a rather atypical coming from someone who grew up insistent upon having bright red walls in her bedroom. Maybe it's just a phase, but it feels so calm and comforting right now.

I wanted to share one of my favorite new treasures I found while perusing Make Mine Pink Friday a few weeks ago. I found these wonderful distressed shutters at RME Boutique. While Tuesday is slowly fading away I wanted to be sure and post a few new treasures before the day escaped me. These pretty little bottles are all accented with French labels and rolled vintage sheet music. The final bottle is a vintage purple glass that has been altered. Welcome to this week's Tuesday Treasures. We just added many new pretty vintage laces and trims and so I thought I would share a few of them with you. Tuesday Treasures

I have been having the most incredible luck lately. I have aquired not one. . .but two vintage dress forms in as many days. Sometimes people don't realize what a treasure they have and that was the case today. I found Ava, neglected, alone and in need of some tlc. She was feeling a bit naked so we gave her a little something to make her more comfortable. She is going to take an entirly different direction from her predecessors. . Betty and Olivia. We will also have to come up with a name for our other lady joining us in a few days. Any ideas? We are open to suggestions. . she looks similar to Olivia, and has a stand. Speaking of Olivia. .

She is far from done, but here is a little peek at how she is coming along. There will be lots of lace, bits of pink and plenty of sparkle in just a few more days. I have been finding it difficult to find the time but have set aside a block this week to complete her transformation. Until next time. . hope you find some amazing treasures this week too.

Well I'm a little late today with my Tuesday treasure for the week, but better late than not at all. I wanted to share something new I can't wait to use. These great alphabet flash cards can be made into so many things. I plan on distressing them a bit and making a garland with a few of them. With any luck I will have a picture to share tomorrow. Welcome to Tuesday treasures. I decided to share a little something new each week. This week I hit the jackpot! Don't you just love it when you find a big grab bag of goodies for a steal, then you get home and it is full of surprises? I found yards of pearls, giant spools of trim, a beautiful vintage apron and this great pink jewelry box. To top it off FedEx just rang my doorbell and delivered something very special. . .meet. . . Olivia. The next time you see her she will be a new woman!
